LIABILITY
TravelMilanItaly.com acts as an agent in making and securing all arrangements for transportation, sightseeing and accommodations for the tour concerned. TravelMilanItaly.com does not own, manage, control or operate any transportation vehicle, hotel or restaurant or any other supplier of services. All coupons, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers.
By accepting the tickets and vouchers, you agree (and your parents or guardian if you are a minor) that neither TravelMilanItaly.com nor any of its representatives shall be liable for any loss, injury or damage to you or your belongings or in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any
occurrences beyond its control including breakdown of equipment, strikes, theft, delay or cancellation of or changes in schedule of services. All accommodations are subject to the laws and customs of the countries in which these accommodations, services and facilities are rendered. TravelMilanItaly.com reserves the rights to make necessary changes in the itinerary or services, to substitute transportations or accommodations or to cancel any tour at its own
discretion in which case the sole liability of TravelMilanItaly.com towards the client shall be a refund of money paid.
No employee of TravelMilanItaly.com can change the terms under which you agree to participate in tours.
CANCELLATION: LAND COMPONENTS
Applies to Hotels, Transfers, Day Tours/Activities, Car Rentals and Rail Tickets
You may cancel your prepaid Italy Vacations trip, but you will be charged the following cancellation penalties applying to the land portion of your trip:
– Within 31 days before travel: 30% of the trip cost excluse rail tickets*
– Between 30-11 days: 75% of the trip cost excluse rail tickets*
– Within 10 days before travel: 100% of the trip cost.
*Rail tickets are not refundable once issued.
All cancellations must be made in writing. We strongly recommend cancellation insurance
NO SHOWS & INCOMPLETE TRAVEL
If you are a ‘no-show’, without canceling before the commencement of travel, you will forfeit all rights to a refund on any portion of your trip.
If you fail to use any single service during your trip without cancellation in advance, the amount of such item is non-refundable.
If you abandon your trip, at any point during the arrangements made on this Website, you will also forfeit all rights to a refund on any portion of your trip.
Because of the possibility of substantial cancellation and change fees, it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you purchase the travel insurance coverage available on this Website and elsewhere.
If due to weather, flight schedules or other uncontrollable factors you are required to spend an additional night(s), you will be responsible for your own hotel, transfers and meal costs. Baggage is entirely at owner’s risk. Passenger certifies not to have any mental, physical or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for himself/herself or other passengers.
GROUP BOOKINGS
Custom group bookings are individually created and may have additional restrictions with regard to deposit, payment and refund ability. With each group booking a detailed policy will be defined based on the particular items included. Each group is different and therefore may have special rules applicable. The terms and conditions listed in this policy are the basis for all bookings including groups.
Group bookings require minimum participation in order to operate. If the group organizer cannot secure the minimum participants be the time final payment is required, the group will be cancelled and cancellation penalties applied. If desired the smaller group will be re-priced based on new number of participants. A higher fare may apply for the new tour.
PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS
· Payment upon booking: 30% non-refundable deposit,
· Balance payment: due 45 days prior to program start date.
· Programs/services confirmed within 45 days of start date require full payment
immediately.
· Tour documents will be delivered electronically approximately 2 weeks prior to
departure.
