Milan, for example, is home to the grand Gothic Cathedral, the Duomo, to La Scala Opera House, to the Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, The Last Supper, to celebrated contemporary art galleries and museums, and to worldwide famous design and fashion centers.
Spend the day and evening sightseeing independently or simply relaxing. And if you want, watch Milan’s nightlife scene come alive.
DAY 2 – Milan

Enjoy breakfast and then a sightseeing tour of Milan (included in the tour).
Our driver will show you the best districts of Milan, and some of the top attractions of Milan, such as the Cathedral in Piazza del Duomo (one of Europe’s most striking examples of Gothic architecture), La Scala opera house (the world’s most famous opera house) and Sforza Castle (Milan’s Renaissance pride and joy).
After the tour, you will admire Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, The Last Supper, in the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, UNESCO World Heritage site. (optional)

As you explore by foot, your guide will show off Venice’s highlights while regaling you with little-known facts and history about the city.

Take an unforgettable boat trip in the lagoon in Venice.
This experience is a great introduction to the magical islands around the city of Venice and its enclosed bay in the Adriatic Sea.
You will explore three delightful islands in the lagoon, which make for some very engaging sightseeing.
You will watch master glass blowers at work in their workshops in Murano, which has been producing beautiful crystal since the 10th century when Venetian traders brought back the secrets of production from the East. Murano was a very wealthy island in the 15th and 16th centuries when the island was central to Europe’s glass making.
Burano is another beautiful island in the lagoon, famous both for the charm of its pastel-coloured fishermen’s cottages and for its lace industry. Lace has been hand-made on the island since the 16th century, and it was once considered the most refined in Europe.
The third island you will visit is Torcello, home to Venice’s first cathedral. The cathedral, Santa Fosca, is a masterpiece with its mosaics and Byzantine structure.
After the boat tour, in the afternoon you will travel to Florence by 1st class high speed train or private car.
DAY 5 – Florence – Guided City Tour

Though surprisingly small, Florence is laden with cultural attractions and charm. Medieval streets evoke a thousand tales, and museums and churches safeguard the world’s greatest repository of Renaissance art.

After the afternoon to spend at your leisure, you will experience the romance of Rome by night on our dinner cruise on the Tiber River (if available and optional)

Rome - The Vatican Museum
