DAY 1 – Arrival in Milan

Enjoy breakfast and then relax on a sightseeing tour of Milan.
Our driver will show you the best districts of Milan: Porta Venezia, the old neoclassical Porta Garibaldi city gate, the majestic Milan Central Station, the artsy quarter of Brera, the ultra-modern skyscrapers at Palazzo Lombardia (seat of the regional government), and the newly developed Porta Nuova area, which hosts striking high-rise buildings and avant-garde constructions such as the impressive Unicredit Tower, the tallest building in Italy, and the recent Diamond Tower, a 30-story diamond-shaped skyscraper.
You will also have free time to explore the top attractions of Milan.
You could admire Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, The Last Supper, in the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, UNESCO World Heritage site.
Or you could wander in the historic center of Milan and discover its beautiful highlights: Milan Cathedral in Piazza del Duomo, La Scala opera house (Teatro alla Scala), Sforza Castle and Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio.
Alternatively, if you love shopping and fashion head for Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a highlight of Italy’s fashion capital – and for the Quadrilatero, Milan’s most famed and fabled shopping district, which displays luxurious shops, courtyards, and palaces.
DAY 3 – Venice

Venice: the “Jewel of the Mediterranean”, a marvel of engineering feats, built on 118 small islands crossed by its world-famous canals.
During the included walking tour, your local guide will help you discover the magic of ‘la dolce vita’ in one of the world’s most romantic cities.
You will navigate the picturesque alleyways and cross bridges over the quaint canals filled with gondolas. Cross over the Rialto Bridge into the seductive winding streets of San Polo and experience the evocative Bridge of Sighs.
You will see the Bridge of Sighs, Palladian Churches, the Customs House, Grand Canal, St. Mark’s Basilica and Campanile as well as the Doge’s Palace.
A stroll across St. Mark’s Square will bring you to one of the oldest glass-blowing workshops on the islands to witness how this ancient craft is performed.
During the afternoon at leisure, sip coffee at one of the cafés on St. Mark’s Square, shop in the boutiques and watch artists at work, or visit the Fine Arts Academy.
DAY 4 – Florence

In the morning, a wonderful 2 hours ride by high-speed train will allow you to admire the scenery of the Veneto plain and the Apennines hills till Florence.
Florence is Italy’s ‘outdoor museum’.
During the afternoon, you will have time to enjoy the atmosphere of this splendid Renaissance city so loved by Dante, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, and start taking advantage of this historically rich and attractive city.
There are amazing museums, beautiful gardens such as the Boboli and wonderful palaces to visit like the Pitti Palace.
In the evening, you could enjoy astounding views from Piazzale Michelangelo and a walking tour of Florence’s Medieval and Renaissance quarters.
DAY 5 – Florence

You will have time to explore Florence.
You will marvel at its many wonders like the 13th-century Duomo, the famed Uffizi Gallery, the Academia Gallery hosting Michelangelo’s masterpiece, “David”, Piazza Signoria with its wonderful sculptures.
Florence is also a centre for fashion. Wander the elegant shopping streets and admire the goods in the sophisticated boutiques, go shopping for Italian leather goods, art and crystals.
In the evening you will be board the high-speed ‘Frecciargento’ train to Rome, reaching Rome after a comfortable journey (1 hour 35 minutes) through beautiful countryside seeing hilltop villages and towns.
DAY 6 – Rome

Full day at leisure to enjoy the “Eternal City” and visit ancient Rome and Colosseum
The city is a sightseers’ paradise with architectural delights to be found around every corner.
You could also just sit at a pavement café on the Via Veneto and watch the world go by.
Or wander in Rome, perhaps to admire Michelangelo’s painting masterpiece on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, to visit the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica, or simply to discover other endless marvels of this city.
You could also visit the Catacombs on the outskirts of the city, venture into the Roman countryside to the perched town of Tivoli to visit the house and gardens of the Villa d’Este, or throw a coin in the Trevi fountain to ensure your return one day to the Eternal City.
